Obituary of Adeva Lunetto Brown-Geddes

On January 11, 2025, our sweet Adeva, left us too soon.  She is survived by her Mother Julie , her brother Antuane, her sister Aaliyah , her partner Shyhien and loved ones. Her contagious smile and warm personality will be missed by many people. She graduated Nelson A. Boylen High School, and then went to study Criminal Justice at Humber College where she played on the women’s basketball team . Adeva then became a security guard at Humber River Hospital during the pandemic for 2 years then moved on to be a security guard at St.Michael’s Hospital. She then strived to become a Correctional Officer at the Toronto South Detention Centre. She served her community with love and honour which made her enjoy what she does . Loving daughter, sister, and granddaughter, beloved niece, cousin and friend.  Adeva will be missed dearly by her many family and friends.

Our thanks to all of you who showed up and provided assistance, kept us company, showed us love and support in so many ways. We also owe much gratitude to Humber River hospital medical staff who took care of Adeva during her stay . Also many thanks to the Toronto South Detention Centre for the their generosity and care for the family and Adeva . 

We will cherish the beautiful moments and warm memories with Adeva . Today and forever she flies free.
