Obituary of Uvince Silvera Glashen

Uvince Silvera Glashen January 07, 1937 – February 18, 2021.

We announce that Uvince Silvera Glashen of Rexdale, Ontario transitioned peacefully in his sleep from this life to be with the Lord in eternity on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Uvince was a devoted man of God, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife Averil, 7 children, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 8 siblings.

Although his family and his church family are saddened by his passing, we are rejoicing in the lively hope we have through Christ Jesus, that Uvince Silvera Glashen is now at rest. As Revelation 14:13 reminds us “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them”. Uvince, our husband, father, brother and friend was a praying man, a distinguished man, and led a principled and unforgettable life. He was the unifying lynchpin striving for unity, reconciliation, and restoration. His wisdom and quiet strength will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
