It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them and a day to love them but it takes a lifetime to forget them, my dear Yvonne we will forever remember you.
Yvonne you have left a sour taste in our mouth. If only we knew that your life is going to be short lived, we would have enjoyed your friendship a lot more.
Why? Yvonne why have you left us so soon? We will miss all the questions and the smiles. There will be no more videos from your gardening to me, how can we explain this to our grand daughter. Sherrie-Ann and Jamar, kindly accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your beloved Mother. I do not mourn as those who have no hope; I mourn her loss because her presence and beautiful and cheerful voice I’ll hear no more. Eyvonne light did shine brightly in the lives of many; we can take comfort in knowing that at a very early age, she surrendered her life to the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. We grew up in the same community and attended the same church in St Ann, Jamaica. At some point of Eyvonne’s young Christian journey, I taught her Sunday school; therefore, I can attest to the fact that, Eyvonne grew up as a fun loving and respectable person. She was beautiful from the inside out; honest in all her ways, dignified, friendly and very loving.
In my conversations with your Mom, I am cognizant of the fact that, she knows God and had maintained her faith and trust in Him. We all can be assured that, her soul is resting in the presence of Her Savior.
This is not a final good bye; we shall meet her again after this life on earth is ended; so I say Farewell Eyvonne! Sherrie-Ann and Jamar, if you’ve not yet committed your life to Christ, please do not hesitate to do so, that’s the only way you can be sure to see your loving mother again. Cherish all the good memories she shared with you, live a life she’d be proud of; value all her Godly teachings and emulate all her great qualities. Please know that I’m praying for you.

Yvonne, I will miss all those long nightly conversations! I keep picking up the phone to dial your number and keep waiting for your call. Sleep in Peace my sister. Words cannot explain the bond we share the birthdays memories the laughter the night's we stayed up until I fall asleep on the phone and start over in the morning I miss a dear sister.
