Mother
Our love goes on without you now
But nothing is the same

Tribute to our cousin, Cousin Vendy as my siblings and I affectionately called her. A good and helpful soul has departed. I will always remember her for helping and caring for her relatives especially our mother. Cousin Vendy is gone from our sight but will always be in our hearts. To Pauline, Roy, Avril, Milton, children, grand and great grandchildren you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tribute to my dearest cousin, Vendeleta who was an inspiration to me. Long before cell phones, we would write to each other often. Being the God-fearing person she was, I enjoyed receiving her letters which began with "Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." The loss is inexpressible, but I believe she is sleeping in Jesus and on the resurrection morning, when the dead in Christ shall rise, we shall see each other again.
May her soul rest in peace.

Grandma, you are the one and only grandparent I have ever known! Thank you for being a part of my life. You’ve had a full life of your own, with many heartaches, joys, aches and pains. But what I remember most, is how despite that, you still had the sweetest, funniest and most adorable sense of humour!! I will carry those memories with me always! THANK YOU for the stories, the songs, the hugs, and the laughs... and that sweet, sparkling smile behind your eyes. I love you. I only wish i could have known so much MORE of you!

I read this poem and just sharing with you thinking about you in this time of mourning.
Your Mother is always with you.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street.
She's the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick and
perfume that she wore.
She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well.
She's your breath in the air on a cold winter's day.

I want to send my deepest condolences to my cousins and the rest of the family of my dearly departed auntie Vendie. It’s been a while since I saw her last, now I reflect on how little time we have on this earth and wish I was able to see her again. My memory of her is of a warm, kind and loving lady. My hope is that she now is reunited with her brother my dad , and the rest that have gone on before her. May her soul Rest In Peace.

Mom im glad your soul is at rest. The day you passed i felt a relief knowing you have been freed from aches and pains and the hardships of life. And i know you were reunited with your loved ones who have passed on before you. But when driving home that night i was hit with the realization that i now have to live in a world without you. It made me so sad. Im still sad about it. But i know you are it a better place. I will always cherish the memories i have of you! ❤❤❤
