jamal and i used to sit in my car for hours on end and talk about so much stuff he would even call me at random times in the night just to talk i remember one time he randomly pulled up at my house and i was in my pajamas and he was like lets go get in the car and we drove around till the sun came up and he was telling me about his goals to change his life around and how he wanted to do better

I never got a chance to meet you, but you're one of the first people Brent spoke to me about and who he continued telling me about regularly. He had nothing but amazing things to say about you. I know how much you meant to him and I was so grateful that he had a friend like you. Every week when I'd hear he was spending time with you, it would put a smile on my face. I can tell from reading all of these memories what a wonderful person you are and how many lives you have touched. The thing that I learned from Jamal’s. Is the ones his greatest negatives is that he so much, if not too much love for the people that where is his life. That the feeling of love and appreciation caused him to get mad easily. Vision blocking at times, Unconditional love, that you could never put in words. We all lost an important soldier in the battle of life. However, I’m left with the conclusion that gained the strongest of angels!!!

You didn’t deserve this outcome. You had a heart of gold. You were a protector and you really cared about others . You were respectful and kind and you always went out of your way to ensure the people around you were good.
We met about a decade ago , while I was at the park in our neighbourhood. You walked up to me and introduced yourself and welcomed me to the community and made it known , that if I needed anything that you were there to help. From my never ending car troubles , if I was in a struggle you would send your mechanic my way , which did get me out a few sticky situations ,which I will always appreciate
More recently , We would talk about kids, life, goals and the possibilities . You were optimistic and excited after facing some hurtles . I would encourage you and you would do the same for me . I can honestly say I haven’t met a lot of people like you Im all my years , I know now how compassionate and caring and invested you are in the people around you.
Jamal you were great friend and I have come to learn how many people you really have touched and cared about and protected . Your death has really shaken me up in ways that I don’t myself understand . We are all at a loss without you however lucky enough to have had the opportunity to experience your soul .
I pray for your family and your children and I pray for anyone who has been touched by your life. I pray that your family and friends find peace and healing during this unimaginable time. You will be missed . Rest In Peace

Jamal bro, you were a brother. Words cant describe what you've done for your brother and me and his friends. You countlessly guided us away from things without literally telling us. You were our backbone as kids growing up Jamal, and we will forever hold the lessons taught by you. Now that me and Brian and the boys are grown. We will carry on what we learned from you. I can promise you that Jamal. You were there when I first got my bike. We basically went on our first ride together too bro. Everytime we seen each other, it was like we seen each other yesterday its crazy. I will always remember your smile, with all the jokes u told me, all the stories you shared. I love you fam.
