I have no idea where to begin in talking about Mother G because there's so much to say. She was the very best of us. I know you are in heaven! I don't remember how and when I started living with Mother G in Jamaica but I know she loved me and treated me with kindness and respect. She always did. You were the best mother-in-law a son could ask for. I will always remember and honour you.You will live in our hearts forever!

I must say thanks to Mother G for being there for me when I needed help. I once called Mother G when I had a huge obstacle in my life and she said to me in her strong voice "Cho Bobby man, that is nothing for you to overcome". She prayed for me afterwards and I could not believe it but I immediately felt like I could do anything.I overcame the obstacle ahead of me with ease. Such was the strength of this lady and her prayers. I now say a prayer for Mother G and her family. All is well.

I was saddened on hearing of mother,G's passing. God saw the road was getting rough and he called her home. Earth lost a beautiful individual but God only takes the best for his garden. She was a generous, loving, and passionate lady. She was loved by all and will be missed a lot. May her soul rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon her.

Aunty G, my beloved aunt.sleep in peace my dear. You have fought a good fight and has finished your race. In the summer holidays when you would pack the younger children and come to visit granny for couple weeks that was the time I got to bond with my cousins. Without a warning I could see Lyn and Mikie bend the corner, followed by Amy and Fern, that made my face flushed with excitement because that meant plenty playing with my cousins. Then followed by Aunty who stopped briefly to greet her sister- in- law "Merdy" and the children in the home. Plenty of hugs and kisses. You were so kind, I always looked forward for the next visit.
Baby Wright, Bredda and Wiggy my elder cousins I have experienced your love in different ways. Aunty nurtured you well. Stay strong.
Aunty, you are gone but never will forgotten.

Auntie G- I fell in love with you the very day that you introduced yourself to me as my aunt. I found you to be a very beautiful and respected aunt that I greatly admire. Your smile, calm demeanor, eloquence, soft spoken, gentle touch and encouraging. Auntie, I admire that your sense of style and that you’re always well dressed and put together. I remember my last visit with you and gifting you a pajama set. Your reaction was priceless- you gentle rubbing your hands on it over and over and said “ Oh... nice quality! This is nice... thank you my niece.” I knew you would have enjoyed that gift as you were always a woman of high class, elegance and grace. I enjoyed our talk you initiated about my dad -your brother who had already preceded you. That tells me how much you loved and cared for your brother. You left me with sweet memories that I will treasure forever.
Sleep on my Auntie. Sleep on... sleep on and Rest in Sweet, sweet Peace. ❤️

Auntie G was a lady after God’s heart. All who knew her will remember moments when her love was felt and seen through her actions.
For me, Auntie G was more than an aunt. She was a mother...my mother since the age of four! With open arms she welcomed me into her heart, her home and her family because of the special bond we had. I’m told that as a toddler, it was heartbreaking when we were apart. My parents gave in. Auntie G loved and cared for me with the tenderness and compassion of a God-fearing mother, that I pray I was able to convey when raising my own children. She taught me the value of working hard and dedication to whatever God has called us to do. Above all else she taught me to love God with all my heart, to lean upon Him, to trust Him and the plans He has for me. Her legacy lives on through all of us children and the generations that will follow. May light perpetual shine upon my dear Auntie G.

I am truly saddened by the passing of my beloved Auntie G. She was a beautiful soul and I can remember her distinctive voice and smile. She would always tell me how proud she was of my accomplishments. She was an Aunt who meant so much to me. As fate had it, she passed away 1 day prior to the 19th anniversary of her brother”s ( my father”s) passing. Please say hello to Papa for me. I know you are in a better place and may your soul Rest In Peace. May God grant you all the strength to cope during this time.
