Obituary of Rev. Rose Fay Weir
Rev. Rose Fay Weir, Senior Pastor of House Upon The Rock Deliverance Ministry, returned peacefully to the Lord on April 12, 2019. Rev. Rose is remembered for her undeniable love for God, her family, friends and the community.
Born in Rural Retreat Claremont, in the St. Ann parish of Jamaica on October 13th, 1946 to the late Noel Morris and Vida Hibbert, she was the third of ten children but could always command the attention of a room.
Rev. Rose lived a purposeful life, filled with love, laughter and victory. She was a beacon of light and could always be counted on to share a joke or story that would put a smile on anyone’s face.
Rev. Rose walked and talked by faith, answering God's call to Ministry as a preacher, teacher and fierce prayer warrior. As a chosen vessel of God, she comforted, delivered, healed and brought change to many people, which will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her three siblings; Edmond, Fitzgerald and Christine Morris, her two children Navena Pearson and Donavon Walker and her beloved grand-daughter Scymone Pearson.
The celebration of Rev. Rose's life and legacy will take place at West-end Church of God of Prophecy and all are welcome to join us in this time of celebration.
If you are unable to attend this celebration, but still wish to honor the life and legacy of Rev. Rose, we extend an invitation to you, as we are sure she would want you to seek God with all of your heart and soul. Even in death, her life and legacy will continue to speak of God's unending love.
If you wish to send flowers, please have them delivered before 5pm on April 26th or before 9am on April 27th . Thank you
