The name Gordon was like a first name to us. Yet, he never said call me Mr. Gordon. Sometimes on a hot afternoon, we would hang around his "business place," but he would not chase us away. Instead, we would get refreshments from him. Some years later, we laugh with him because he was happy that aunty "My" said "I do" with him. Many years later, when we were hurting from grief, we saw that he was still thoughtful and supportive. Recently, we saw his own hurt, but mostly heard his good natured comments and humble words " I believe." There is a blessed hope.

I greet the father, the son and the holy spirit.
Family and friends I also greet you in the mighty name of our lord and savior Jesus christ. I have known Gordon for over 40 years and he has been a very loving, caring and respectable person that I have looked up to. I can remember the time when i just came to Canada and he was so encouraging, he was teaching me the ropes and tell me that it's not easy. He showed me how to work and save towards what i needed there. There was alot of moments and memories i have, and i will cherish them all and he will be greatly miss by me.

I once read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a cherished friend. He spoke of the dates on the tombstone, from the beginning to the end. For Leonard, those dates are marked by his birth and November 6, 2024. Yet, what truly matters is the dash between those years—a testament to his life and legacy.
Leonard was born to the loving and respected Margret Ann Gordon and Leslie Gordon. As a child, he was joyful and mischievous, always finding something to occupy his curious mind. At school, he was brilliant and remembered for his warm smile.
Leonard's love for music and travel brought him joy. He never passed anyone without acknowledgment, grateful for every kindness shown to him. His determination and hard work were evident in all he accomplished. Known for his deep love for his family his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews Leonard's passion for sports like cricket and football was matched only by his enjoyment of a cold beer after a long day.
In reflecting on Leonard's life, we are reminded that what truly matters is not our possessions but how we live and love. Leonard's dash was filled with kindness, respect, and an infectious smile. Let's honor his legacy by cherishing our own dashes living with love, understanding, and respect.
Leonard lived his dash well and will be deeply missed by all who knew him: his five brothers, sister, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. With love and regret, we say goodbye to a man whose life was a testament to the power of love and kindness.
Love Big Sister

I've known Leonard from 1994. He was my trainer when we first met at work. He was a very great teacher. Leonard loved you when you were very ambitious and moving up in life, and he remained a very good friend until the end.

To my sweetest uncle,
I never thought of the day where I would have too say goodbye to you. The pain I feel is so indescribable that I feel chocked up just thinking about it. I will never have the chance see you in person or get talk to you one the phone again. I miss you so greatly. The warm hugs and your presence of being there will no longer be around but it will forever live on in my memory. I made promises to you to never give up and I intend to follow them as my final wish to you. I hope that you have finally found peace wherever you are. Rest well my dearest uncle Leonard.

My sincere condolences to Mrs Leonie "My" Gordon, Patrick Gordon, Marvalyn "Carlene" Foster and the rest of the Gordon family and friends.
Yes mi frien'
Yes mi frien'
You nuh dey pon di street nuh more.
You left us to go home to be with the LORD.
Though I am missing you
Although I am missing you
I'll find a way to get through
Living without won't be easy
Cause you were my good good friend and my Scorpio buddy
You were my friend, my supporter, and a strength of tower to all of us
Only God may know why but God knows best
Still I will get by
Now that you're gone
Life is just not the same without you
But everyday I'll try to go on
I'm empty inside and my tears I cannot hide
But I'll try
I'll try to face the pain I cannot hide
Living without will be empty inside
Cause you are my friend and my Scorpio buddy
I will always keep your candle burning bright in my heart
I will forever cherish the precious moments we had shared throughout the years as friends
Cheer, to looking back over your life and all the special memories we shared.
Rest in peace in your Savior strong arms
Sweet chariots will carry you home

My brother, you were taken from us at short notice with little time to say goodbye. I miss you deeply, knowing we will never have conversations again....ours were wide ranging, from early days to present and global. Soon it will be another Christmas, our most memorable time of year; and we wont be able to call wishing each other well for the season. We were looking forward to see you next year as planned but that will never be....only God knows why. It's so hard, so difficult to be writing this memorial tribute about you..unbelievable my Bro
Dearly missed by your brothers Rupert, Star & Cliffy. Sleep in peace Len

To a Remarkable Man, Leonard Gordon:
Today, we honor a brother, an uncle, and a brother-in-law whose kindness, wisdom, and strength have left an indelible mark on our hearts. Leonard, you were a guiding light, always there with words of encouragement and a steady hand in times of need. Your laughter filled our homes with warmth, and your presence made every gathering feel complete.
As a brother, you stood by with unwavering support, sharing in every joy and every challenge, making life’s journey richer. As an uncle, you filled young hearts with love, laughter, and life lessons that will echo through generations. And as a brother-in-law, you brought friendship, kindness, and strength to our family, proving time and time again what it means to be truly devoted and caring.
