I remember as a child Uncle with a large afro, him carrying me on his shoulder, those were wonderful days. We met up in May 2024 had a great time together and made plans for December, unfortunately it wasn't to be. Rest well uncle you will always have a little place in my heart where I've kept the memories of your sister Lurleen. My sincere condolences to the rest of the family. I'm going to miss my monthly phone calls. Rest well. Lyn

Uncle Sedrick was a very loving and caring person. The first time he stayed with my mom and I in Jamaica, it was like having an angel in the form of a human staying with us. He gave me so many hugs and showed us nothing but love and appreciation. When it came time for him to leave our home, it was such a sad occasion, as his cheerful presence would've truly been missed. His wonderful smiles and kind heartedness will be missed by all who knew him. Sleep In peace dear uncle, until we meet again on that bright and beautiful day. You have left our lives but you'll never leave our hearts.

From the very start, my uncle had a unique way of making everyone around him feel special. Whether it was his infectious laugh, his warm, welcoming demeanor, or the way he always seemed to know exactly what to say to make things better, he had a brilliant presence. I’m sure going to miss my dear uncle, we’ve formed a really good bond over the last 12 years or so where he was an integral part in supplying much needed information about our family while building a family tree. Also we’ve never met in person, we were in constant communication, and would always check in and chat. One of the last things we spoke of, while he was in the hospital was continuing that communication with my cuzzies and uncle, we’re going to try our best to do so. I love you and I’m going to miss you. Gia.
