Uncle Rupert,
Thanks you for all the Love, Hugs, Laughs, Conversations and Rides everywhere. Your presence at family get togethers will be missed tremendously.
As we gathered as a family to celebrate your life there was a stillness at that dominoes table as though the king of the game was missing, no words can express what you meant to all of us.
As we draw near to each other we will continue to uplift and support Aunty, Babs and Richard, your light and smile continues to shine bright through them even during their journey of grief.
As you run into the arms of your Savior we thank God for being able to walk life with you.
Until we meet again,
Love Nathalie

My dear Brother inlaw Rupert...It's so hard to say goodbye..When I saw you a few weeks ago, if I knew that would be the last I would give you many hugs instead of two... One thing that makes me feel at ease, is that you accepted Christ into your life so you are with your Jesus....You loved the Lord with all your heart and talked about him daily..Life will never be the same without you....Our family get togethers will be dull without your dominoes hitting the tables...You were such a friendly person who loved to make people feel welcome with your conversations...You will never be forgotten...What can I say ...Your beautiful wife and queen, Barb....your children Babette and Richard...Your daughter in-law Ghada and your grandchildren love you very much but we promise to stand by them throughout this grieving process...Sleep on my dear Brother in law, Rupert Lindo until we meet again...

Thinking of my dear Uncle Rupert. You are no longer here in body, but your spirit will always be with us. Remembering your voice and phrases, especially around the domino table - the joy on your face when playing, the preparedness by always having your domino table in your car, looking for your next six love; will be unforgettable. I am thinking about your immediate family and am comforted knowing they have memories to make it through each day. I bought mints today to put in a little candy jar on my table! (If you know Uncle Rupert, you know this was his thing)
You'll always be in my heart - Love Nicole

My deepest condolences to Barbara, Babette and Richard. My brother Rupert and I didn’t grow up together and we didn’t have the privilege of spending a lot of time together but my special memory is the time he celebrated my birthday with me and other family members. He was happy playing dominos and smirking a smile every now and then. Those were happy moments that I will never forget but will cherish for the rest of my life. God has called him home and he is safe in the arms of the saviour. Rest in peace my brother until we meet again.

My condolences to the Lindo Family. My brother in law Rupert was like a bother to all of us, his infectious smile puts a smile on everyone's faces, Rupert was always there to give advice when you need it, he was always there to help in any way that he could. My 41 years of knowing him, has made an impact on me, and I will never forget him. Please sleep on my sweet brother in the arms of God until we meet again.

My dear Families and Friends, our brother Rupert Spirit went home to rest. His body is cast off and ready to lay and relax in the ground in a box we call a coffin, and a burial ground will receive Rupert's body. Rupert fought well, knowing he had not been well for a long time.
Rupert has been on this earth for 81 years, and we can still visualize and remember his unique smile.
In our house called home, our two eldest brothers slept in the same bed because our parents had more than ten children, plus other families’ children, raised under the same roof.
Although Rupert separated from us and migrated to live with our aunt in London, England, we remain a family.
Now, when we look back to our early childhood, we play on our parents' farm, milk goats, herd horses, drive cows, jeeps, tractors, sugar cane tractors, and cars. None of us had any special favors from our parents; we were and are still their children.
Rupert, a man of remarkable independence, cultivated his own peanut farm at the peak of the hill on our family's land.
Ralph and Rupert, brothers in arms, shared a love for bird hunting that transcended their journey to England. Our family, a tight-knit circle, lived in proximity, united by our unbreakable bond.
The tides called dead will come and go, and for every one of us, there is that day. However, rest assured that Rupert is in a deep sleep and will awake someday soon.
Our love for Rupert knows no bounds and will endure for all time.

Sending my deepest condolences to the Lindo family. My uncle Rupert was a great man..a family man that loved his wife, children and grandkids. Growing up he always had time to reason, give his life advice to the young cousins. He was very wise, soft spoken but u felt his presence. I will definitely remember being on the dominoe table with him mashing up the place. Love n will miss u uncle Rupert!!
