Obituary of Trevor Burth

Trevor passed away on April 24, 2024 after a 15 year battle with cancer. His final moments were spent surrounded by the love of his family.

Beloved husband of Sandra and loving father to Jahmilia , Shashu & Trevor Jr.  Trevor was born January 18, 1955, to Emilyn Grant and Gursham Burth (predeceased) in Water Works,Westmoreland, Jamaica. 

Trevor migrated to Canada in 1976 where he worked as a Welder and then a Businessman all his life.  In his spare time he enjoyed learning new recipes, long walks in the park, nature, reading, listening to educational program discussions, yearly visits in the winter to Jamaica, spending time with friends,visiting relatives, and listening to Jazz music.  Known for his humbleness, resilience, and strength, Trevor will be missed dearly by all who knew him.  

Trevor is also survived by his mother Emilyn Grant, stepmother Wilma Burth, sisters Barbara, Audrey, Sandra, Lucrisha, Valrie, and Jackie, brothers Terry, Derrick (predeceased), Egerton, Andrew, and Paul.  A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more friends and relatives!                        

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to all who reached out and towards the New Haven Funeral Centre for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
