My condolences to the family. My uncle was a very cheerful and loving man. My fondest memories of how he loved his family that consisted of massive hugs and pinches to the cheeks that always had us feeling loved. My uncle always wanted the best for his family and his aspirations were like no other. His mind was mechanical and creative. His artistic abilities were exceptional. His laugh and smile was always memorable. His love of Yeshua was like no other. We love you dearest father, brother, uncle and friend. May Yeshua richly bless you, true saint of YAHWEH!

My fondest memory of you Herold was about 24 years ago. You had entered my life and it was a pleasant memory. I say a pleasant memory because the first day I met you was at church when I went to the alter to reconsecrate my life to the Lord. You were the only one who welcomed me in with loving arms into Etobicoke Church of God. For years I struggled with the memory of who that person was and I prayed about it. The Lord revealed that you were the one God used as an angel to welcome me. I just want to say thank you for listening to the voice of God that day, I truly cherish the memory forever. As long as I live, I will never forget the loving way you welcomed me into the body of Christ again, thank you. I know that you are where you always wanted to be, in the arms of God, happily rejoicing, and have become that angel that I met that day. Rest in peace my brother. From your sister-in-law Andrea, brother Carlton, niece Shania, and nephews Theodore, Isaiah, and Julius.

When you lose a precious member of your family, the love you shared does not die with them. It lives on forever among the shattered pieces of your heart. Losing you Herold has certainly left my heart in pieces, however, the memories of you will always be in my heart. Herold you are one of the most loving, caring, and kindest brother I have ever known in my life and I am proud to have had you in my life for the time you were here. These memories I will cherish as long as I live. Rest in peace my dear brother, my family and I miss you greatly. To a follower of Christ, being absent from the body means being present with our Lord Jesus Christ! Uncle Herold was a man with a heart for his family and also all people. He smiled with his eyes and his laugh I can still hear. When in his presence, it was impossible to be down. With great commitment, he would literally shake you, or pinch you, or talk your ear off until any dark clouds lifted. Tears come to my eyes every time I think about uncle Herold leading praise and worship or moderating service in church. Who could forget his famous one-legged foot stomp (with a slight body lean)... Don't forget his tambourine skills! He loved the Lord and was passionate in his worship. One of his favorite choruses, "The Storm is Almost Gone", has new meaning for me... "I can see the sun peeping through the clouds, the storm is almost gone." No more suffering. Uncle, you left a great legacy. May your soul be at rest ❤️ I pray this loss will be a time for reflection, forgiveness and healing for all who have been impacted. To aunty and my cousins, may you find comfort, peace and joy in the God of our salvation.

The love he showed was an encouragement and challenge he made clear is worth taking up in context of the knowledge of the level of grace we have received in king Jesus..."And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Mr Broomfield shone such a marvelous and brilliant light during his earthly sojourn. The intimate love he had for God and his family was uncanny. Words are incapable of conveying the impact he had on me in the short time I was blessed to know him. The loss of his prescence is incomprehensible. My deepest sympathies are with Mrs Broomfield, Daniel, Nicole, James, Amy and the rest of the Broomfield family. Take comfort in knowing your husband and father is now resting in the eternal love of his Creator.
