Obituary of Gloria Cynthia Munroe

On Sunday, December 10, 2023, Gloria passed away peacefully in North York, ON.  Loving sister, beloved aunt, cousin, and friend.

Our dear Gloria was a quiet introvert with a generous heart.  Growing up in Trinidad, she developed a passion for fashion and sewing and became an excellent seamstress.  She loved her family, helped to take care of her six younger siblings and more importantly she loved God and was an active member of the Church of God in Woodbrook. In her thirties, Gloria migrated to Toronto to pursue her bigger dreams.  There she learned new hobbies like knitting and crocheting, and she continued her growth as a Christian being very active in church and Christian groups. She studied while working and eventually became a registered nurse – a career that she loved and was very proud of. Gloria always did her best to help other people and material possessions were of little value to her. In her later years, she travelled to Africa as a missionary continuing her life’s passion of giving to others. Gloria transitioned peacefully in Toronto and may she rest in peace and rise in glory.
