Obituary of Clarence Laud Allen
Clarence Laud Allen was the first child of Malaha Minto and Lidan Allen, brother of Linnette Kelly and the late Melsha Sterling. He was born on June 27th 1931 in Glasgow, St James, Jamaica. As a young man, he fell in love with the Late Cynthia Kelly who predeceased him sixty-one years ago. Together they have five children Yvette (Fay), Paulette (Pea), Cossett (Miss Mc), & the twins Michael & Jannett (Keith & Enid). Those children gave him nine grandchildren, which then gave him six great-grandchildren. All these children were his pride & joy. Clarence migrated to England on December 3, 1961 and eventually he landed a job with Stanley Black & Decker to which he worked for many years until he migrated to Canada in October 1993. After migrating to Canada Clarence found joy in exploring his new country, exercising and watching Baseball. In September of 2023, Clarence began to feel ill and was admitted to the hospital. After a successful surgery, he was unable to fully recover and his health began to decline. On November 27, 2023 at the age of 92, Clarence peacefully passed at Markham Stouffville Hospital.
