'Mummy' as she was affectionately called by her much beloved daughter Paulette could not have done justice to capture the much cherished Aunty, Sister, & Great grandma, Miss Miriam had been to all who knew her.
To know her was to love her. The warmth of her smile endeared and offended none, yet the strength of her will kept the foolish and dangerous at bay. The depth of her love has left us a tall book in the person of Paulette, her daughter, who continues her legacy of living kindness and unselfishness.
The dignity with which Miriam faced the foe that claimed her body taught us all that our spirit truly belongs to God and can NEVER be broken. Thank you, God, for gracing us all with such a precious gift, even if only for a time!
