Perry, I can’t believe that you are gone. I tried to prepare for this day, but nothing could prepare me for ever present void left behind for me, and so many, now that you are no longer here. Thank you for always encouraging me, and always telling me the truth (whether I wanted to hear it or not). I am going to miss our calls, and hearing your laugh, when recalling the days events or telling one of your many life stories. You were selfless, kind, didn’t mince your words, and got straight to the point. I find comfort to know that you lived your life on your terms, with no apologies, and that’s what I loved about you. I am forever grateful that you were a part of my life. Thank you for being a great friend, confidant, and father figure. You will NEVER be forgotten and always respected. May you rest in peace.

I am still in disbelief and at a loss for words. An angel has left this world. There are no words to accurately describe the love I have for Ronald George Perry. He has been my rock through the most difficult phases in my life. I am broken waking each day knowing he is no longer with us. Perry you are gone but you will remain in my heart forever. On behalf of the Halstead family our sincere condolences to Ronald's family. Perry was my brother Morris's best friend from primary school days. I remember when he would come by the house waiting on Morris to get ready for school. could see the both of them running down the little hill on their way to school. He was a very quiet soul. Trusting his dear soul find rest in the arms of Jesus Christ. So Perry sleep on dear soul. Sleep on and take your rest. You may be loved dearly here on earth also be missed but Jesus loves you best. So he called you home. S.I.P.

My heart is still heavy after hearing of your passing. We were suppose to meet in September but I never knew it’d be like this. My thoughts and prayers go out to your son and family. Our friendship goes back to 92 — I just loved our convos and the lickle jokes we would run. Dear Perry family, I’m so very sorry for your loss. Ron was was one of my friends. We worked together for a few years and he was there for me in some difficult times. He was an incredible friend who will be missed. I will miss running across his path at work. Prayers for all..sincerely Michelle
