My dear sister Nicola, Nicola came to live with us on August 28, 1986. We were both 13 years old. Nicola brought excitement, laughter, and a good balance of love and frustration at the same time. Nicola always knew how to push my buttons when she wanted to, and knew how to make me laugh. Her impulsive nature always kept me on my toes. Since I met her, Nicola was an independent, strong, and influential. There was never a challenge that she wasn't afraid to take on, or a battle that she wasn't afraid to fight. Looking back on our friendship, I realize that Nicola's influence on my life has been immeasurable. Her carefree and cavalier spirit helped me to learn the importance of simply being happy in life. The lessons I learned interacting with Nicola will remain with me forever. Nicola, you will never be forgotten. Oseye Cohen
