Obituary of Nathene Alicia Lawrence (Tamra)

On July 25, 1976, Nathene Alicia Lawrence, also known as Tamra to her family and friends, was born to Cecelin Small and Franklin Lawrence in Crofts Hill, Jamaica. On May 13, 2023, she passed away, taking a huge part of our hearts with her.

Tamra was the most angelic-looking baby. She had a calm and gentle demeanour that never changed as she grew. She migrated to Toronto, Canada, with her family in 1990. She met and inspired many others as she lived her life.

She was a true believer in God and worshipped Him in truth and spirit. She was a dedicated member of the Rexdale Church of Christ. Tamra was first and foremost a warrior for Christ. A fierce protector for her family and friends. Reliable and trustworthy. Tamra will always be remembered by her loved ones as someone you can depend on to remedy any situation. Always the strongest of the bunch. The rock. The pillar. The go-to person.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, siblings, grandparent, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, church family, and work colleagues.

Tamra is a true representation of love and is profoundly loved. We will forever miss her and keep her alive in our hearts. She is in the Lord's arms now, resting on His bosom. Ready for her role as one of His perfect angels.
