Condolences to Shirley, Junior and the rest of the family. Sister…my mother, you were the kindest, sweetest soul I’ve ever known. As a child you were always there for me, taking care of me. You were always there for so many, never turning your back. I remember when you would lift me out of that red chair when I would fall asleep and carried me to my room; when I would be in the kitchen while you were cooking; us relaxing on the veranda; meeting you halfway when you were coming home from work, and how you would checkup on me and never forget my birthday. There are so many memories, I could go on. Sis I love you and you will forever be in my heart. Rest In Heaven.

She was a gem sent from God above. She was a spiritually dedicated prayer warrior. Her gracefulness and poise will always be remembered. We are thankful for the time and fellowship we shared with her here on earth. We were blessed by her culinary (cooking) skills to nourish our bodies. Her smile and gentleness warmed our hearts. "Our family chain is broken and nothing works the same; but since God calls us one by one the chain will link again." Katleen Meleta Arthur appropriately called Sister bcause she was a non biological sister to many of us was the epitome of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. She truly embodied the fruit of the Spirit. Sister loved her children and felt their pain when they were hurt. She also displayed her love for her family, relatives and friends by the way she cared for them, especially making sure she fed them with her delicious meals. Sister was a good cook. She was a friend, a confidante someone in whom we could confide, knowing that whatever was said would remain with her. She has impacted many lives with her generosity, compassion and wise counsel. Sister is gone but her memory lives on. Let us be thankful to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ for the wonderful years (89 yrs and 10 mths) she spent with us. Leonard. Hyacinth, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members, relatives and friends let us not sorrow as those who have no hope, but pray that we will see Sister again when the Lord returns. My condolences to Hyacinth, Junior, Terry,Darren, Troy, Grand children and Great Grand children and Rest of family members of the passing of their Beloved Kathrine, I hope God will give you all the Strength to endure the loss and the pain, but trust in Him day by day as we all celebrate sister life together in our ❤️ hearth, I have known sister over 48 years, she is a loving, peaceful, soft spoken Lady.
