To the Hart and Stone families, please accept my sincere condolences. I'm deeply saddened to hear of Judy's passing.
I had the pleasure of working with her during my time at WeirFoulds. She was an integral member of the accounting/admin team, and the firm overall. She had a strong work ethic, and an even stronger devotion to her family and friends.
We bonded over our connections outside of the firm, and I was blessed to be guided by her as one of my "work moms". She was always very thoughtful. On Easter Mondays, I was a thankful recipient of her bun and cheese; and guineps when she'd return from one of her trips to Jamaica.
Her wit and kindness will be deeply missed. May she rest in eternal peace.

My deepest sympathies to Judy's families. She was a force to be reckoned with. We worked closely for many many years at WeirFoulds. As Cohorts responsible for planning many firm events for many years, we could sometimes finish each other's sentences and laughed alot together. I will miss her wit and her no nonsense attitude. She left too soon!

I sat across Judy’s desk since Day 1. Day 1 for me was some time in 2019. I would always hear her say things like, “I’m a horrible, horrible person! I’m telling you, Patrick, I am!” I probably heard that line a hundred times. But that’s a lie. Judy was thoughtful. And caring. Among so many other great things…
There were times when she would see me overworking and really stressed out. And she would always remind me to just take it easy. Well, actually, she wouldn’t just remind me. She would threaten me… with her cane… She’d go, “Patrick, if you stay late tonight, I’m going to beat you! With my cane!!”
And she would always ask about my wife. Every single time - “How’s Jacqueline? When is she coming here?” She was looking forward to meeting her. And it breaks my heart knowing that it is just never going to happen.
Judy genuinely cared. And I am going to miss her. RIP

My sincerest condolences to Judy’s family and close friends. I’ve known Judy for many many years and only the last few years I had the opportunity to work closely with her. She was my mentor, my colleague and a very good friend. We talked everyday and I was so grateful for her patience and guidance with my many billing questions, and questions about parenting (I still have more to ask). I loved hearing about her kids and especially her grandchildren, she spoke about them often. We’d always end up laughing at the end of our conversations. I miss her so much and life at the firm will forever be different. Judy’s absence is felt deeply. Judy, you are forever in my heart.

My deepest condolences to Judy’s family. My heart aches for you all.
Since I heard the news I’ve been trying to imagine life at WF without Judy. The landscape has forever changed and her absence has left a huge hole for so many. Judy was tough, but she was kind and generous and had the biggest heart. For many years we had jokingly talked about a girls’ trip to Jamaica and we’d always laugh about how crazy it would be if we ever actually did it. I’ve heard so many people talk about “the look” - Judy’s unique way of letting you know exactly who was in charge during every interaction. But what I like to remember most about Judy was the look that came after “the look”, when her face would break into that big grin of hers and she’d let that mischievous giggle come out. THAT is my favourite Judy look and whenever I think of her, which I know will be often, it will be that laugh and glint in her eye that I’ll remember.
Oh Judy. We will miss you so much. RIP in my friend.

Our heartfelt condolences to family and friends. Judy was a big part of the firm with her vast knowledge in the accounting department and her tireless work on the social committees. She was a big part of making all of the events that she was involved with a big success. She was a person that got things done and was so proud of her family. Her and I would often talk about our kids and grandchildren and would laugh about the things that the little ones would say or do. We will miss her fountain of knowledge in accounting and will more importantly miss just the goodness that she brought to work each and every day. I will miss calling out her name as I walked past her cubicle in the mornings and her telling me to not to say it so loud. I will selfishly miss the oxtail but I don't think that I'm alone in that.
Judy we miss you and I hope that you will rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the entire Hart-Stone family, especially to Cliff, Ryan, Jenya, Joshua and my best friend Ashleigh. I was blessed to know Judy through Ashleigh and as my best friends mom, she also became a mother figure to me. Her intelligence, humor and fierceness as a woman will always be remembered. Her love and legacy will live in through her beautiful children. Prayers and all of my love to all of you, always.

I work in the library at WeirFoulds LLP and Judy's cubicle was behind mine. (Well, almost -- there were some flowing plants between us that she took good care of.) Judy’s intelligence, competence, work ethic, dry sense of humour, and gruff-yet-kind personality were evident to anyone who cared to notice. She will be greatly missed. In December, I was going through some archival photographs and found this terrific photo of Judy (circa 2003) dressed up for a Halloween contest the library used to run (see uploaded). I was going to ask her about it… Nairne Holtz

Judy was a very kindhearted, funny, warm, and loving person who will be greatly missed by those who had the good fortune to have known her. She was our friend and neighbour for many years and we always enjoyed her visits. She could be counted on to lend a sympathetic ear, give good advice, and bring a smile to your heart.
Our sincerest condolences to the entire family.

Judy and I worked together at WeirFoulds for many years. She ran her department with an iron first in a velvet glove and was respected by all who worked with her. Judy also organized many many social events for staff over the years and was always the centre of those gatherings. She had a knack for bringing people together and a great sense of humour. We had many laughs together. Judy was indeed a special person and taken much too soon. My deepest condolences to all of her loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Judy will always live in my memory as a vibrant, powerful, and mesmerizing lady. She embraced our imperfections, taught us, mentored us, and was there to resolve any issue we ever had. Judy was such a ray of shine through our workdays. She would always throw a joke or facial expression that would be worth a thousand words. I cannot begin to imagine how the family must feel if we are all in tears. I wish I could say anything that would help, but words are not enough.
My sincerest condolences...
