Obituary of Gloria Jarrett

To our dearly beloved Gloria Jarrett, also known to many as Gem B., we said good-bye on August 26, 2022. She came into this world on April 28, 1938 and departed from us into the bosom of the Lord. 

We will miss her, her beautiful smile, her laughter, her zest for life and her love for music & dancing but we know we will see her one day at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with her glorious body.

Gloria will also be missed by the many staff at Wenleigh Long-term care centre who cared for her, shared much love and laughter with her for the last 15 years. Thank you all.

Gloria is the beloved mother of Leon Mitchell and Sonia Huggins and cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Shayan, Sean, Ashley, Quinn and Brock and 5 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Elise “Prim Rose” Groves and her uncle Vincent “Papa” Parkes (UK) and many cousins, nieces and nephews near and far.

Gem B, we will miss you.
