My condolences to the bereaved family of Aunty Elaine, stay strong as we grief together. With great sadness and grief I say goodbye to my beloved Aunty. Aunty Elaine had played a special role in my life as a anchor of support, especially in times of needs ,stress and crisis. She embraced me just as my mother would from I was a child to the day she closed her eyes. You were extremely special! Your love, kindness and great spirit, will never be forgotten. To Beverly, Dureen, Ann Marie, Desmond and Perton, I offer you my sincere condolences. Auntie Elaine will surely be missed. The most significant attributes for me were her total acceptance and her unconditional love for me. Auntie’s rich personality and sense of humor were just a couple of reasons that so many were drawn to her. She was an encourager and I am so thankful for every single opportunity that I had to spend with her while growing up and even afterwards. From spending weekends with her, gaining cooking skills, getting a good belly laugh to having a moment of prayer and worship….I am truly thankful. Auntie Elaine, we might have been separated by physical distance, but you have always been and will continue to remain in my heart. Sending much love and hugs to my family. I wish I could be there in person, but please know that you all are in my prayers.

My mom Theresa and sis Campbell were friends for 58 years. They met in Jamaica and they migrated to Canada. Fortunately their paths crossed again at Toronto West Seventh Day Adventist church. They remained friends and mom visited sis Campbell often at Valleyview. When my mom got sick and needed to be a resident at Valleyview God smiled on her and she was placed in a room next to sis Campbell. The 2 could often be found sitting in each other's room talking. Sis Campbell will be greatly missed by many including my mother, her husband and me. She was a kind, compassionate and God fearing woman. Sleep in peace sis Campbell.
