Wishing blessings and peace to the Williams family. Beautiful memories are such a warm and intimate expression of love. This was a most courageous man with a most courageous family as a legacy.

On behalf of Jason Reid we expressed our deepest condolences to extended family..there’s not enough Words to explain our gratitude what Ian truly meant to us friends, the Williams, his sons Damian and Elijah and beautiful wife Sam. We are honoured to have learned so much from Ian, which is truly humbling.I’m so glad Ian and I had the opportunity to cook at my house. As it was one of his passions, him and I both enjoyed cooking. He taught me his specialty potato leek soup .That being said it made him smile.
My husband, Jason and Ian both have had an incredible bond and journey together since grade school.Times and visits Jay spent watching football and basketball games, were dad things they both enjoyed at its best.had a lot of laughs .We’re so blessed as we got to bond with Ian. Our friend was a pillar of strength, a remarkable super human being, awesome son,a brother to many as well as the big brother I never had. Such a loving husband and caring father .A well rounded man who’s passion for life demonstrated many attributes; that will forever resonate with us all. Ian will continue to help us hold such cherished countless memories..
(Debo!)Ian, I want you to know that you mean so much to Jay family and I and always will.So grateful and thankful for your life with us. We’ll miss you love you always Forever You’ll always will be in our hearts. RIEP Ian

I was always amazed at Ian and Aaron's brotherly bond! My favorite memories are when Ian would come to Bloomington to visit Aaron and he would always be decked out in his Memphis blues!!

My deepest condolences to you and family Sam,
I remember 17 year old you sneaking around to see Ian when your sister and I were dating. You couldn’t wipe the cute smile off your face when you spoke of him. I met Ian a few times and he was such a sweet human. His love for you was obvious even back then. I cannot imagine the pain you feel. Sending so much love to you and the boys xo

My guy! Great friend! Every year he would track me down and wish me a happy birthday. My family loved him and loved when his dad would come to Memphis. His oldest middle name is honor of my late father Terris Harris Sr. That meant so much to my mom and I. I feel so blessed to have made his acquaintance and offer my sincerest condolences to his family. Rest Easy my brother! Jason Harris

Ian was one of the greatest athletes I’ve ever had the honour of working with but more importantly was one of the toughest human beings I have met. His grace, courage and resilience, especially in his post football career, serve as an inspiration to all of us.
