Girlie. It wasn’t that long ago we walked the same grounds at wonderland. We didn’t work in the same area however , still familiar faces to one another. I am lost for words, I am speechless. I am holding onto memories.
I met Sweedian in August, 2018 while we were in orientation for our Master of Social (MSW) program through the University of Windsor. Sweedian, and I quickly bonded over working in Mental Health, she worked at CMHA and I worked at CAMH (similar acronyms haha). This program was very difficult and I could not of done it without my friends, family and Sweedian.
Whenever I lacked confidence in my abilities, Sweedian always provided me with words of encouragement. I appreciated how brave you were to share your own life experiences and how joyful you were. You had such a good memory and always asked how Greys Anatomy was even though you did not watch the show.
You have left an impact on my life, I will never forget you, Rest in Paradise, Queen.

My heart goes out to Sweedian’s family. It is impossible to articulate the enormity of the loss of someone so truly special.
